"What is offered in shadow is offered in good faith — and what is asked in shadow is bound by the same."
By visiting this website (thehollowcoven.com, hereafter "the Site") or by submitting a petition, photograph, payment, or any other request to The Hollow Coven (hereafter "we", "us", "the Coven"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or request a working.
Every rite, reading, shielding, severance, charm, and vigil offered on the Site is a spiritual and ceremonial service performed in accordance with our tradition. Our workings are offered as items of folk practice and personal belief.
We make no scientific, medical, legal, financial, or psychological claim for any working. Nothing offered here is a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. If you are unwell, in danger, or in crisis, please consult a qualified professional or emergency service.
The Site and its services are intended for persons aged 18 years or older. By submitting a petition you affirm that you are of legal adult age in your jurisdiction and that you act of your own free will.
To perform a working we ask only for the petitioner's true name, a recent photograph of the person to be shielded, and any context you choose to share. We do not require, request, or store:
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you send us. You must not submit a photograph of any person who has not consented to a working being performed on their behalf, except for yourself, your minor child in your sole legal custody, or a deceased relative.
Listed prices are the tithes due for each rite, in United States dollars unless otherwise noted. Payment is taken in advance through our chosen payment processor. The Coven does not store full card numbers.
Because every working requires materials, ceremony, and sustained labour by the sisters from the moment a petition is accepted, refunds are governed as follows:
Spiritual workings act through faith, intention, and the will of those involved. We cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome — including but not limited to changes in health, fortune, relationships, the behaviour of third parties, or the lifting of perceived afflictions. You acknowledge that you accept any working at your own discretion and risk.
You agree not to:
The Coven reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cease any working — and to refund the corresponding tithe — if any of the above is suspected.
All text, illustration, sigil work, photography, and design on the Site are the property of The Hollow Coven and are protected by copyright and related rights. You may view and quote brief excerpts for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other use requires our written permission.
Photographs you send to us remain your property. By submitting them, you grant us a limited licence to handle, view, and ceremonially use the image solely for the purpose of performing the working you have requested.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Hollow Coven, its members, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Site or any working — including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, emotional distress, or claims by third parties. Our total aggregate liability to you for any matter shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific working giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Coven and its members from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your submission of materials you were not entitled to submit.
The Site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., and our order form is processed via Netlify Forms. Payments may be processed by third parties such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar. Each such provider operates under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted at this URL with the date of revision noted above. Continued use of the Site or submission of a new petition after revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Hollow Coven primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. If any provision is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
Questions concerning these Terms may be addressed to the Coven via the petition form, marked "Concerning the Terms".
